
Lisa Morgan is a certified S2C Practitioner who provides one-to-one lessons and teaches communication access to spellers. Lisa develops and guides the Fellowship program at CrimsonRise - a group experience for spellers providing opportunities for advancement. Lisa has helped to build , the CrimsonRise office and operations from the ground up, enabling us to serve many more nonspeaking people.
Lisa is also a NYS Licensed Special Education Teacher and an independent Special Education Teacher Support Services (SETSS) provider for students aged 5-21 years.
Lisa believes that every person with a disability should be presumed competent, to be embraced and accepted for who they are, and given the opportunity to communicate; . and that individuals with motor differences should be given access to every opportunity available to the neurotypical population.
Lisa holds a BA in Psychology and an MS in Special Education from the College of Staten Island.
Lisa volunteers her time to local organizations that provide various after-school programs to autistic individuals. She enjoys traveling and has a passion for reading and eating chocolate.
