
Kimberly Yee is a certified S2C Practitioner who provides one-to-one sessions to spellers. Kimberly is an integral part of the Studio Program at CrimsonRise and develops curriculum and opportunities for spellers to advance. Kimberly mentors practitioners who intern at CrimsonRise. She is an avid lesson writer, and is an Editor for the CrimsonRise Collective publications. She is a clinical mentor, providing coaching, feedback to S2C practitioners in training with the International Association for Spelling as Communication.
Kim believes that a learning experience should be fun and fulfilling. Kimberly teaches with the belief that the support she provides should always be person-centered, keeping her clients personal goals and accomplishments in mind so that they can achieve their independence and interact and communicate openly.
Kimberly has 6 years of experience working with autistic individuals at the GRACE Foundation of NY, where she was a Program Assistant in group social skills and recreational programs as well as in day habilitation settings.
Kimberly graduated from the College of Staten Island with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She enjoys playing video games, cooking, and arts and crafts. Her greatest passion is working with her clients and teaching life skills.
